Club Crest

The crest consists of a number of images representing the parish. A crossed set of hurleys with sliothar and football indicates the dual nature of the club. The round tower and well represent local features. The name Oranmore derives its origin from the Irish words "UaranMor" which means "big spring". The well image is to represent this well/spring which is situated at the edge of the Oranmore village at the corner of the station road opposite the Oran Town Shopping Centre. The tower is an interpretation of the Martello Tower which stands at the westerly point of the peninsula jutting into Galway bay where Ardfry House is situated.

Club Colours

Prior to 1967 Oranmore wore black and amber jerseys while Maree wore black and green. The club adopted new colours in 1967 which were sky blue jerseys and white shorts. The white shorts were later replaced with navy as more colours came on the scene in the 1970s.

The local National Schools continue this traditional as Maree National School wear green and black jerseys, while Oranmore Boys National School wear black and amber.
